I'm glad Wilder lost. Here's why.

Yeah yeah yeah I know that Wilder was gaining more casuals to watch Boxing, but his style is completely not what boxing is about. He basically made a mockery of the sport. Absolutely no skills whatsoever.

Fury destroying Wilder put an end to all of this nonsense and brought boxing back to its roots. It goes to show that in the end, boxing prevails in the sport of boxing over some gimmick.

I honestly think his ego got too big for his own good and started to believe that all he needed was his right hand. He got a good dose of reality last night. LOL

Honestly, I'm just hoping a fight for the undisputed titles can be a more realistic option now.

I'm sad for poor Wilder... it's not his fault that he was lied and promoted the way he was...

It's his fault he didn't take boxing seriously and try to develop as a fighter.

I think first fight result should be overturned. Furys been doing this since he was a kid, it showed in first fight. Yet some people who should know better thought Wilder would win. My IQ isn't big but even I could predict Fury was going to win. WIlder let a 40 year old outbox him for 7 rounds. That's ok with Ortiz of this world.
But fury is top of food chain, why so many picked against him, is anyones guess.

I remember Wilder's speech saying he would retire undefeated at age 39 after making a huge number of title defenses and winning them all by KO. He said he would be considered the greatest heavyweight of all time. He got a dose of reality last night.

Good thread. Fury has single-handedly saved boxing, and has also b*tch slapped one of most obnoxious fanbases in the sport. What a guy.
