Without tacos, beer and a with a proper training camp i would favor him against Wilder.

His fast hands and chin would be too much for a mediocre boxer as Wilder.

I'm not sure about that, he is 2 levels above Stiverne even when Stiverne was good. I think if Ruiz can get through the first 4 or 5 rounds, he might get to Wilder in the mid rounds start putting it on him and stop him. Ruiz can hit and he can really put a variety of punches together. I can see him stopping him in 7 or 8

Ruiz, Joshua, Whyte, Chisora back when Warren tried to make the fight. All bad news for Wilder.

This would be a very bad match up for Wilder right now

A guy who is fast and can slip jabs and get on the inside

Wilder cant fight on the inside

A none fat Ruiz beats Wilder rn

Wilder needs a guy who he can walk down

If andy mauls wilder it’ll be a short night for wilder too.
Wilder doesn’t have the movement to pot shot, or the skills to keep his opponents at a distance... he can time andy coming in.. but what if andy can take it?

This is a good fight to be honest but i’ll favor andy ruiz because of the style. Let’s mix them heavys up as long as aj vs fury is the priority

Sure if he can get close (a big if) Ruiz is technically Mich better than Wilder and has the power to get him out of there, but being short and extremely fat with poor footwork doesnt help him get close to Wilder and if Wilder has space he will hurt Ruiz

He doesnt have poor footwork he has slow feet, big difference. I agree that Wilder can catch him coming in, and obviously in certain areas height is a disadvantage, but Andy has a pretty good guard, and actually that coupled with the short height makes him a small target. A guy like Fury, who is quite active, doesnt throw everything hard and flicks a lot of punches would probably break Andy up but Wilder doesnt do that. He has a good jab, and right hand, but Fury exposed him a bit, in the sense that if you get past those two punches he doesnt defend himself too well on the inside, and cant fight on the fly like Joshua did at times in the rematch. My gut tells me that Andy's chin and defence will hold up

I like the style match up, tbh Wilder doesnt need this type of match up right now, but down the road it's very interesting and as I said my money is on Andy
