  • 53% to 34% landing, Quartey Robbed

    I'm speechless.

Both fighters clearly had their moments but Quartey should have won this or at least lose a split decision considering Forrest had a point taken away.

this was a close fight, so was hatton/collazo. but unlike hatton/collazo, theres NO WAY that forrest was the TRUE winner of that fight.

How can the 2 of the 3 judges who scored the first fight a clear UD for Ouma now go on to make it so Vernon won?

People should known me at this point on this forum... I seldomly, if ever, claim robbery. I speak very calmly refering to all fights and usually suggest that I completely understand both sides of an argument. However... this is pure ****ing bull ****. I scored it 97-93 for Quartey and I honestly don't know how anybody could have Forrest winning it. I can see, at the very, absolute worst, scoring it a draw somehow. WHen the first two scores were read as being 1 point differene I was shocked that they even had it that close...only to be even further shocked when they announced who it was for.

Bad decisions run rampant in boxing. In a close fight I can understand whole heartedly if judges don't agree with me... but this is disgusting and embarassing. Hell, my girlfriend who only watches boxing on rare occasions when she's with me for a fight even said she didn't understand how they could say Forrest won. Joke.

        They robbed him.
This is coming from someone who was betting on Forrest.

I bet my last 80 vcash points on Forrest winning, and Quartey was robbed. I just hope Quartey doesn't retire and there is a rematch.

The judges had to have been blind, deaf, & ******ed to have score that fight for Forrest, & i gotta agree with Steward that both fighter looked great, but Vernon lost, if the fight would have 12 rounds then who knows, but it wasn't.

I wanted forrest to win, but their is no way he won that fight. This has to be atleast in the top 10 of worst decisions in boxing. After the robbed pernell whitaker in the fight with delahoya, and when they did the same to oscar in the rematch with mosley, i might just have to give up on the sport for a while. STRAIGHT BULL****

I was rooting for Forrest, but I had him losing by 3 points, it should've been by 2 points, because I don't agree with the ref taking a point away from Forrest.

Quartey was robbed once again in his career, which I think it's pretty ****ed up. He def was robbed agianst Oscar too.

I had it a draw going into the 9th. With 1 point taken away and quartey had the better 10th he should have won by 2.
