Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder Has 30 Days To Exercise Clause For Fury Trilogy

Heavyweight Tyson Fury is a world champion again, after dominating Deontay Wilder whose corner has thrown in the towel in the seventh round of their title rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There is a contractual clause for a trilogy fight - and Wilder has 30 days to exercise that clause - with the contest taking place in June or July.

If Wilder is smart, he would take 2 to 3 fights before getting back in the ring with Fury. Fury had his number from round 1.

He’ll want to do what AJ did and at first he’ll use that as an example, but when it comes to it, he won’t sign, he knows this Fury is a far better version the one he fought first time around and he doesn’t have an answer...because he can’t outbox him. He’ll head in a different direction.

He can't outbox him and he can't outfight him. The gypsy king has laid the blueprint.

He should take the immediate rematch as Joshua did. He fought the wrong fight and will do better in the rematch. Let's see how the drug tests come out for this one first though.
