Andre Berto, Jaidon Codrington victorious on undercard

Andre Berto and Jaidon Codrington came up with W's on the undercard of the Quartey-Forrest fight in New York City. The offensive minded Berto needed just 2 minutes and 19 seconds to dispose of rugged journeyman Roberto Valenzuela. The former 2004 Olympian Berto moves to 14-0 (12 KO) while Valenzuela falls to 37-25-2 (33 KO).

Comebacking prospect Jaidon "The Don" Codrington also was victorious, shutting out former junior middleweight titlist Carl Daniels. Daniels, who had lost 5 in a row prior to this fight, was no match for the younger, fresher Codrington. Codrington won all 6 rounds on all the judges cards. Codrington improves to 12-1 (10 KO), while Daniels drops to 49-10-1 (31 KO).

Yes, that is true. And you know how I know? Because he gave me a press exclusive DVD with all of his first 13 fights

He's sortof like Jeff Lacy, in that hes a top heavy aggressive combination puncher, but lacks the head movement that made guys like Tyson successful. He needs to tighten up his defense and his hooks, and get some head movement in there also. He's the best prospect in the sport right now.
