He should because the money split is already decided. If he let's that contract void Top Rank wont give him **** for a rematch. People dont think about that. From 25 million to maybe 5 million at best.

The only reasonable fights for Wilder right now are Whyte and Ruiz, then make the 3rd fight if he wins those, which is not a given at this point. I think Wilder believed himself when he started saying he was the biggest mofo on earth but then you have to listen to the Toad the Wet sprocket lyrics:

        "Nothing's so loud
        As hearing when we lie"

He needs to regroup and get one or two easy touches, just like all his precious fights against Fury, like 37-3 of them?

If they insist on making the III fight, Wilder will be ruined after that.

He will TAKE THE REMATCH, being a fighter is not like waiting for a Bus at the bus stop 'YOU have to take your chances/opportunities' Wilder will initiate this rematch.

If he does not take the rematch 'I see some big changes in his camp'.

Note: I wonder how long Fury will wait for a rematch? I assume Fury will celebrate now etc Wilder has to be straight back in the gym within afew weeks time 'If he is serious about a rematch' no vacations or sabbaticals from the gym.

The only reason for him to take the 3rd fight is a cash out then retire.

If he's going to continue he should rest up, work on developing somethings, then test out what he'd been working on, on softer opposition for a couple fights before he steps up to world class again.

Good one Barrett , like I said Fury will retire Wilder and that's that. I hope Fury doesnt act like wilder though and run away from the other champion .

the way wilder talked in the ring after the fight saying I wanted to go out on my shield I had a lot of things going on etc makes me think he wants to get savagely beaten again. he sounded exactly like serena Williams when she loses to an 18 year old that weight 60lbs less then her giving her opponent no credit and making excuses

Wilder is very limited but still has the ability to beat 95% of other HW because none of them move like Fury.

With all the surgeries i question how long Wilder will retain that power with the right because if he loses it he is done at the top level.
