If it's in the contract he has the right to it, but yeah it's going to be a tough sell when the undisputed fight is right there, but Wilder and his team don't care about that obviously.
I'd like to know the details of the rematch clause, like what network etc, any guarantees or splits, at this point I just don't see it being compelling.
This wasn't a case like Joshua dropping Ruiz then rushing in for a big finish and getting clipped and never recovering. Fury's schooled Wilder for two fights now, and this one was not even close, a rematch with Otto would honestly make more sense, seriously.
I think Wilder probably takes the rematch, takes the payday and unless Fury comes completely unprepared retires Wilder.
If they do take the rematch the excuses are going to start soon and they'll come thick and fast, it's going to take a lot to sell a third as competitive after that.
