  • Why was Wilder so hesitant tonight?

I mean you have the right hand, just go all in with it.

Something was off. Training injury, illness?

    • Wilder won't be the same after this. I did predict Fury to stop him.

      • I was rooting for Wilder, but it’s become abundantly clear that Wilder has subpar boxing skills and his power is his only redeeming factor.

He will always be a threat because of that right hand, but he is not elite. Fury was there to be hit all night but Wilder just couldn’t adjust and switch gears. He’s been to used to stalking his opponents and did not know how to handle an opponent who stalked him.

        • Wilder looked like he had no idea what to do from the beginning of round 1. Complete domination. He was holding himself up on the ropes he was so out of it. What a complete ass kicking

              • He was overtrained, that's what he was. It was clear with his body language backstage and coming into the ring. Either that or he didn't believe Fury would walk him down and trained for a different Fury.

Ward/Bradley/Max don't think Wilder should take the immediate rematch but I think he does. He sells himself on being too heavy and not recovering from taking the shot to the ear drum, but in reality what exactly is going to do to build himself back up? Wilder isn't going to become a skilled technician overnight or anything. He is what he is.
Wilder was doubting himself for this second fight, despite having two knockdowns over fury... how much more now that he got beat up.. i don’t think he’d have the confidence to immediately go for it.. this was so bad Of a beating i dont think there’s much demand if the trilogy is done immediately.

Atleast with ruiz-aj I, aj was actually winning some of the early rounds and even got a KD himself. That’s why immediate rematch is cool

This one was just one plain total destruction for 7 rounds.

I could say alot about all of that but Fury came out and beat his ass down for that robbery he took. Unless you are dumb AF thats 2-0 for Fury. Make your bets now, unless Wilder and his team are ******ed there wont be a Fury vs Wilder 3.

I honestly thought Fury would outbox him, he was true to his word. He fcked him up from jump.
First fight was fine as a draw...but Fury put a stamp on it tonight.

... WTF?... He didn't rupture his own eardrum by himself ... It's Fury who must have been done that -- with a punch...
