Two things...

1. Even if "Paulie" was any good, he'd still prefer to "be down" if you know what I mean.

Paulie, did show some balls in the Cotto fight though. I think he's a closet case but thruth be told he stood up and took 12 rounds of punishment and actually came out looking better than he did going in. But lets be real, he aint gooing to beat no one that is in the top ten, In order to do that he needs to go train with Ouma, but I doubt he can throw 120 punches per round. He will remain a level B fighter. Even though I think Cotto did to him what Tito did to Vargas.
