Maybe 650/700k in USA.
Around 500k in the UK, could be much more or much less. Hard to tell because of the fight time but nobody I know wants to miss it.Comment

With the Superbowl ads I think anything under 1M is a L even if that break even number is 800k assuming today isn't yesterday & Bob is lying.
That makes anything over 1M a win & I think 1.5M insures a 3rd fight & makes these guy more household names to sports fans specifically the winner.Comment

I'll take the over 700k US buys & the under on 500k UK buys.
What's the top 5 UK PPVs taking place at sh^tty US times for UK fans? I'd think if they did 500k in the UK it'd be in the top 5 or close to it but idk maybe not.Comment

So I just did some work to check how many uk ppv the first fight did. Wikipedia says 425k which is where somebody got that figure, but that’s aload of BS.
The actual numbers never got released in uk and frank warren refused to share any details (in fact to the extent he refused to do interviews with anyone who didn’t agree not to ask). The suggestion was it did around 100k but this was neither confirmed nor denied. The silence of frank warren would suggest it couldn’t have done much more than that though.Comment

Hatton v Floyd did 1.2m in the Uk
But this was before a lot of people were wise to streaming. So that has to be factored in.
Being in the Uk, the hype for
this fight here seems just as hyped up, pretty much.
I think 500k might be a fair shoutComment

Big fighters do well ish.
Joshua Ruiz 1 did 500k ish but obviously AJ is a far bigger draw and it was on sky rather than bt.
Mayweather and mcgregor did about 700k.
Mayweather and Hatton did about 1.1 mil.
I think this will do better than the first fight which was rumoured to be about 100k , so on reflection I think 300k maybe doable in uk. I’ve seen a couple of people say they have seen hype over here but personally I haven’t seen a single advert or person talking about it. It’s certainly not been in the news at all.Comment

I agree with most people about the mainstream hype this fight has received. I’m kinda surprised how it’s blown up in the last week or two, a lot of casuals seem to have interest.
Gross Sales(USA & U.K.)- 1.1 million
That number would ensure a third fight and also breathe a little breath in the sport.Comment

I'd agree with you that 300k seems ballpark-ish of what I could see.Big fighters do well ish.

Is Floyd vs Ricky the biggest UK PPV at a un-fan friendly US time?Comment
