I'm not saying Joshua will be the no. 1 in the future. I'm saying he should be now - until the other guys step it up

Joshua had beaten 4 current top-10 opponents. Wilder had beaten 2 and Fury has beaten 1. Wilder and Fury just don't deserve it yet
Wlad & Wilder we're both ranked #1 when Fury beat them. Wlad was ranked in the top 10 P4P list when he was beat by Fury.

Joshua doesn't have a win that rivals those two wins by Fury.

I agree AJ doesn't have wins that big but those wins are undone when Fury fights bums the rest of the time.

Could AJ have fought Swiss and Wally? No he couldn't. So why does the best fighter on the planet(according to you ) get to? It has to be because people don't think Fury isn't as good as AJ and is at a lower standard.

I just don't see AJ being able to outbox someone who outboxed Klitschko, or KO someone who took Wilder's best shots and TKO'd Wilder.

AJ and Fury are the only champs right now, let's just hope they settle this argument in the ring.

I don't know that they were unproven, especially in Fury's case, but Wilder did look very limited last night when his power was not able to bail him out.

And Joshua got demolished and stopped by a fat unranked Mexican. That's all there is to it.

He doesn't get to claim #1 status just because he "won" the rematch in the most pathetic way possible.

Why does Joshua's record rest on Ruiz? That makes no sense?

AJ should get no.1 status for beating the highest quality of opposition. The only reason people think Fury is no.1 now is because they *think* Wilder was no.1. None of that is based on any evidence.

Fury has now beaten *one* top-10 opponent and one whose best win was a 40 year old Ortiz (who is ranked no. 6).
