No one wanted to see Wallin as HW champion of the world, LOL!!! With the rules, it would have been ruled a TKO loss for Fury.
Comments Thread For: Wallin: My Fight With Fury Should've Been Stopped On Cuts

What a ****** thing to say.
It wasn’t stopped and Fury won, so it was the right decision because Fury was able to fight on.
Of course we have seen fights stopped with cuts like that. But we’ve also seen bull***** stoppages when fighters get dropped, it doesn’t make it the right decision. So next time any fighter get’s dropped, we can refer to a past bad stoppage and say “well he should’ve been stopped by the ref” because it happened before. It doesn’t work that way.
For me, it just shows a weak mentality of fighters when they look for a victory in a situation that they don’t control, i.e looking for a ref or doctor to stop the fight.
If you’re good enough to win, you’ll do it on your own terms, not on a judgement of a doctor.
Great post a fighters stance on it shouldn't be should've, could've, would've or what if. Once the fight is over win lose or draw move on to the next one and always try to be a little better than yesterday.Comment

Wallin himself acknowledged that it was up to him to force the stoppage, especially considering the circumstances of Wilder-Fury 2 on the horizon.Comment

To say otherwise would be like saying that a fighter should be awarded a victory just because his opponent looks tired.Comment

If you want to claim it as a win you have to go the other way on fights he didn't desrve to win.
For example how Fury beat Cunningham. Even Fury admits he held and hit him to KO him... You can have the Wilder win if you take the Cunningham DQ loss.Comment

Agreed If this was a lower tier fight with small stakes it would have been stopped. But also agree Wallin needed to attack that cut until Fury looked like the elephant man to force the Ref’s handComment
