I'm not sure it'll do as well as OP stated, but you only need to sell 10k tickets to do the kinds of gates Joshua is doing in the UK.

You only need to do 1 ticket if the price is high enough.

Plenty of fights in the US sell 10k tickets and get nowhere near the gates Joshua does. Again use your brain a little.

This fight has had massive amounts of advertising even superbowl ads. If it does less than a Joshua fight it's a damn flop.

Selling 1 ticket for $15 million is more impressive than selling 50k tickets and doing $10 million at the gate. Stadium packing appeal doe. Who gives **** about selling out a stadium for a Pulev or Takam fight that have nowhere near the buzz or relevance of Wilder-Fury 2 fight?

That's what's impressive about it. Selling out fights against people that aren't draws. **** me you aren't very bright are you?

Why the **** are you deflecting with Joshua anyway? The whole damn world knows Joshua is a bigger draw than both. Joshua against either would do bigger numbers.

Those knockdowns up'd the $$$$ considerably.

No knockdowns and most people are ''eh''.....

You're the one who brought up Joshua in the first place. Every other post you make is a Joshua ****-sucking post. Joshua is a bigger draw so what? Other heavyweight fighters aren't allowed to have success without you crying like a bitch and telling us how much you'll be busy blowing Barry Manilow instead of watching a damn good fight Joshua isn't involved in.

Thread starter claimed the gate is 20 mil. I posted a quote you can tell by the quotation marks (" these things). The quote from an article stating that there was tickets available and Barry Manilow was more in demand. Which likely means TS is full of ****.

It hurt your feelings little man?

There do seem to be some people here that are in denial, but yes, Anthony Joshua is definitely a bigger draw than Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury. The money that will be generated by Joshua v Pulev is more than Wilder or Fury would be generating this weekend if either of them was fighting Pulev.

However, I'm not certain that if Joshua were fighting Wilder this weekend that it would generate more money than Wilder v Fury will generate this weekend.

I say that for a few reasons. The American public is fascinated far more by undefeated v undefeated than they are by unifications. More importantly, Fury and Wilder have existing unfinished business and the American public desperately wants to see a decisive conclusion after the controversial draw. Lastly, with Fury being with ESPN and Wilder being with Fox, it's resulted in a massive amount of promotion thanks to two of America's biggest networks teaming up to hype the fight nonstop. I don't know what country you live in, but here in America, the various Fox owned channels (they own many) and the various ESPN owned channels (they own many) have been playing hours and hours of Wilder and Fury content pretty much every day for weeks. It's been pretty crazy.

Whereas Joshua v Wilder would likely be taking place on DAZN, where the number of sign ups wouldn't come close to the revenue generated by a big PPV, and there wouldn't be enough hype to generate the kind of live gate Wilder and Fury are on track to generate (if Arum is telling the truth about breaking $16 million).

I don't care about that gay tabloid stuff like you do. That female gossip stuff seems to get you hard whenever they mention Joshua's name in a story.
