  • Comments Thread For: Warren: NSAC Decision To Axe Wilder-Fury Face-Off is ******!

Frank Warren, the lead promoter for heavyweight Tyson Fury, is not happy that his boxer has been barred from having a face to face at the official weigh-in for Saturday's rematch with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder. The second fight takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

I read about this on ESPN a few hours ago. It is pretty ******. A last face-off may produce more hype, and equal several thousand more PPV buys, which would be several hundred thousand dollars, which is a lot of money. NSAC is unintentionally costing Wilder/Fury and the promoters money. This is boxing, there's going to be shoving and shouting. NSAC are acting like the BBBoC, little sissies.

Let them face off, they are men who wouldn't throw a cheap shot. They both have too much sense to do that. Shoving is as far as it'd go because they know that's what some casuals open that wallet.

Maybe they heard Fury planned to do something that may trigger a fight. I mean the guy showed up to a press conference dressed as Batman so perhaps they heard he was up to his old antics and want to avoid anything popping off and ruining the fight.

I don't see how fury dressing as batman can trigger a fight.
If anything its wilders racial nonsense that'll trigger it. Nice deflection i guess

A pushing contest at the weigh in apparently makes a sport in which two guys try to make the other guy unconscious by hitting them, “look bad.”

BBBoC don't ban face-offs at weigh ins. This NSAC acting like what they are ... a bunch of idiots.
