No way, Floyd doesn't fight as often enough, by the time he got to 49 fights, he'd be in his late 30's easily, and with losses.

I don't count the Montell Griffin fight a lost because he was winning.

Roy was actually behind on two offical cards going into that last round. Griffin was doing a great job against him and frustrating him for much of the fight. That frustration is what led to that DQ foul.

As for topic, Hatton will lose before then. He's a tough, come-forward fighter who fights top opposition, even if he doesn't match-up well with them. Those type of fighters always have a loss or two along the way. He could cherry-pick and tip-toe and make it to 49-0 without question, but look at his next fight being discussed- JLC. Nuff said.

49-0 is the record for heavies. it means nothing in lower weights. srr won like 90 straight fights without a loss at welter. i dont see why hatton gives a **** about the number of wins. he should just fight good fights, for instance he should move to 140 again and fight both castillo and coralles.
