Instead of Maragrito? Let's face facts. Winning against Baldomir would get more respect for Floyd than beating Margarito. Baldomir is the man at 147lbs. If Floyd beats him, we can officially say he's the ruler of this weight class. That would put him above Hatton who was above Floyd at 140lbs for beating Tszyu. As a Floyd fan, I'm glad he's fighting Baldomir instead of Margarito. Baldomir is better than Margarito anyways in my opinion.

I fully respect his decision to fight baldo for undisputed welterweight championship of the world. Margarito is young and his fight against pbf can happen sometime in 2007 but for now baldo-floyd MUST be made. I will be rooting for baldo offcourse
