I think Plant is a decent champion and it will take a very good fighter to beat him. I think he is one of the best at 168. I think Benavidez beats him by KO in the late rounds.

I say that with continuous pressure Plant gasses out.

Yes Vitali was a kick boxer first and one of the best heavyweight champs in my opinion.

Exactly. His stamina is not so good and he must pace himself. Benavidez would stay on him and give him no rest.

I expected some sort of actual analysis from the thread starter. Expectations way too high I guess.

Guys like him that have to push their speed only fights in spurts. Pressure makes you do things that you do not want to do and if mentally you are not prepared for the pressure that drains you too.

And of course he will inevitably lose. Damn near everyone loses at some point. So who cares?

If he fights say Smith/Benavidez/Canelo/etc, he is prone to taking an L or two along the way.

Plant hasn’t fought a Ruslan type swarmer.

Plant hasn’t faced adversary elites like Mikey Garcia or Lamont Peterson...
Again, due to your inability to view anything even remotely related to Caleb Plant with even a sliver of objectivity, your ignorant opinion means less than nothing.
