GGG and Conte split ways due to Big Bear training

From what I can gather...GGG likes Big Bear because it feels like where he grew up in Kazakhstan...and I guess at his age he still more or less wants to train how he feels comfortable...I get that...don't want to change too much stuff, especially at a late age...I'm sure Conte's opinions about high altitude training have a lot of merit though.

yeah but he left abel.. and big bear is where abel is at! i just think it's silly to do this... he left abel because he said the stuff abel was teaching him just aint working anymore so why continue to train at big bear? there is other places GGG can train at in a high altitude.. this is just dumb on ggg's part.

SNAC does have the Altitude Dome and High Altitude Mask at their facility so not so sure if that is the only issue here

Yeah I hear ya man...I think always trying to improve is a good thing, and mixing things up when needed is smart...his stamina is a big part of what makes him good imo, so I can see maybe why he wants to stay with his current regimen there...but as you said, maybe could still mix it up a bit there

We will see what comes out...I just know Conte is against high altitude training for boxers in general...and I've seen him in an interview talking about GGG specifically, a few years ago...how it wasn't good for him
