Was Pacquiao Past prime by the time he was 29?

I think by age 29 he was done fighting in lower weight classes and he probably could have moved up in weight earlier but it just seemed improbable at the time. No one picked him to beat Oscar De La Hoya even though the fight was a mismatch. I think the Lost Manny Pacquiao years are how he would have looked had he moved up to 135 and 140 a couple years earlier and stayed there for two years.Comment

By the way to the idiots wondering how he managed to throw a hundred punches at higher weight classes it's very simple. There's two major factors. For 1 Fighters came to Manny to walk him down and came right into his punches because they were bigger than him and felt they had to walk the smaller faster guy down. At lower weight classes Fighters always moved away from Pacquiao he was the Juggernaut that had to come forward. Next up is he did not have to make a 15 pound weight cut. You have a lot more energy and a lot more stamina when you don't cut any weight.Comment

Sometimes a fighter’s prime can ebb and flow depending on how they recover from grueling fights. Sometimes they recover and get their second wind. I would say he was prime up until around 2013/4.
The number of fights a boxer has, particularly the number of tough fights they have, will definitely age a fighter faster than a birthday.Comment

I mean a lot of logic is used by saying wars and losses are huge factor Look at Pacquiaos statistics when he was 29 years old.
55 fights, 2 TKO losses,1 clear U.D, a lot of wars with Marquez, Morales thats 4 wars in counting to all their fights especially Morales 1 where Pac took a beating. And also commentators where already noting back in 2007 vs Barrera 2nd time that Pacquiao was slowing down.
Therefore we can logically conclude that Pacquiao was past it by the time he was 29 years old just like Barrera was past his prime by the time he was 27.
He wasn’t completely passed his prime, but he did start to slow down from his ferocious and lightning fast self after that Margarito fight.
He had WARS with the toughest Mexican sob’s of that era and he withstood monster damage in that Margarito fight. Lots of wear and tear.
That’s why Floyd ducked him between 08-11.
FLOYD DID NOT WANT THAT SMOKE.
And although PAC is still schooling these young cats like Thurman & Broner (spence is next) it’s partially because these new welters just aren’t as good as the prior generation, truthfully. Crawford poses the biggest threat to Manny, and even then Manny still has a good 50/50 chance and that’s at age 41. Plus, Crawford would be the favorite against any welter anyway. Manny probably has the best chance against him than any of the other guys.
Manny still dominates because he is a truly ONCE IN A LIFETIME phenom bro.
His mentality, attitude, and relentlessness is extraordinary. It’s like MAMBA MENTALITY. Like a Kobe. Just absolutely sheer will. Also after so many wars and ups and downs, he’s a much more experienced and calculated technician compared to the current competition.
To suffer a KO loss the way he did, and get absolutely ROBBED TWICE disrespectfully in one decade and STILL come back and whoop on these young guys like a PRIME UNDEFEATED WELTER IN THURMAN...that’s so god darn remarkable it’s greater than anything Floyd has done.Comment

Floyd Mayweather was on the juice and it’s been proven.
Floyd’s head got so much bigger, and he went bald, which is major side effect of juicing. Everybody knows this. What’s sad is that he still couldn’t dominate Manny, or Maidana, or even Mcgregor for Christ Sakes!
And that’s while ON THE JUICE!
Quit making excuses for Maywedda.Comment

depends on which agenda the idiot feels for the day. today it's "how can he throw more punches" while tomorrow it's "he's fighting punching bags"By the way to the idiots wondering how he managed to throw a hundred punches at higher weight classes it's very simple.
