I dont really know what to think as I have only seen Baldomir fight 1 time. Despite his record he seems to have respectable punching power, alot of overall strength and he's a tough Hombre. If Baldomir uses his bigger size and superior strenth to his advantage he might have a chance. If he can stay right on Floyd's chest and get rough with him, smother him, it might negate alot of Floyd's abilities. Like I said though I havn't seen Baldomir fight much and I dont know whether he can be an effective pressure fighter.
What chance you give Baldomir against Floyd

Baldy has a credible chance since he's been on a roll. Floyd better bring his A-game and be in shape. The welts will all be gunning for him since he can't break an egg at 147.Comment

I dont know about that. I mean he's not going to knock anybody out with one punch, especially at welterweight but his punches are so sharp and accurate they seem to cause an inordinate amount of damage. It will be a big factor in this fight how Baldomir reacts to Floyd's punches. He has to be willing and able to take Floyd's punches to get inside.Originally posted by LondonRingRulesBaldy has a credible chance since he's been on a roll. Very little.
Don't let his stoppage of Gatti fool you. Outside of that he has 12 KOs (approx) in over 50 fights.
He's not knocking Floyd out, which leaves him to win more rounds.
He throws wide punches that aren't very fast.
Easy win for Floyd.Comment

Like I said before I think his power is alot better than what his record indicates. He has a very solid right hand.Originally posted by Bozo_no noVery little.

Originally posted by McKayI think he could stop Floyd but it wouldn't be with one punch, it would be in the late rounds from an accumulation of punches to both the body and head.
You 'could' in theory knock out Floyd. Doesn't mean it's going to happen.
The fact he's not a one punch KO guy makes it even less likely.
His KO% speaks for itself. He's not a heavy handed guy, and there's nothing deceiving about his record.
A lot of those wins are agaisnt unknown club fighters in his own country. The fact he decisioned most of them just goes to show you.
The chances of Baldomir winning are slim to none.

If this were the case, he would have gotten Judah out of there, but didn't.
No way he hurts Floyd.Comment

There's alot of tough fighters from Argentina, especially from the region he is from.Originally posted by Bozo_no noYou 'could' in theory knock out Floyd. Doesn't mean it's going to happen.
