    wilder v. fury 2

by far the biggest fight we will see all year...

wilder will be wilder...boxing is always suprising so maybe we see something different from wilder but its unlikely...he does what he does....hes unlikely to change much....but a quote from ****m richardson always seems to ring true for me about wilder....it went something like "wilder is that kid in algebra or trig class that always comes up with the right answer but doesnt show the work on the paper as to how he got there"....

wilder spent too much time in the last fight punching where furys head was and not where it was going to be....he finally figured that out very late...almost too late...when he finally punched with furys movement and caught him

i think it might have been smart on furys part not to give wilder an immediate rematch and look at him again so quickly

what i think you will see from fury is him oscillating between boxing the way he did in the first fight and letting his hands go and getting inside and mucking it up....in an attempt to keep wilder thinking, guessing and his timing off....just my opinion though

what we know for certain is that hearn and AJ will be crossing their fingers and praying fury comes up with a decision win.....hes the safer fight for them....everyone in boxing knows if aj and wilder meet theres a 75-85 percent chance AJ is going to the canvas....maybe even higher....those guys were probably licking their chops until the 12th round happened last time

anyways...this is the most anticipated fight of 2020 and both sides did a good job of building it....its going to be a big event.....nice to see these guys come together, again, when the so called "champ" didnt want to fight and got beat up by ruiz

    cheers...

    Great post!

And just to think, Arum was involved in these negotiations and the fight actually happened. Eddie on the other hand....all smoke and mirrors.

As mentioned, we all know AJ's gonna get cooked by Wilder, maybe even Fury, but a Wilder KO loss would ruin him.

I just wish Eddie didn't even speak about this fight but I can't remember if Wilder and Fury talked much about AJ during the build-up to their first fight, but I could be wrong.

    Can't wait for Saturday!

And Fury one-two'd Wilder to death in the first fight and had him reacting to ALL of his feints. If Fury's able to give more angles and keep his punch output up, he can definitely upset Wilder as he was on his way to doing in the first fight.

You followed up a very good post by Curt with a big load of stuff about Joshua and hearn. All roads lead to Joshua. Fury wilder 2 is the fight for the right.

Not a fan of either but for boxing sake , I hope Wilder doesn’t go head hunting like he did in the first fight
He looked very amateurish and desperate
Fury is the all around better boxer but if Wilder takes his time and exécutés a little patience , he should be able to catch Fury
For Fury to win he will have to perform as AJ did in his rematch fight

See, not minding your business will get you washed around here and you’ll be the first to block and report me like the others do.

Quote when quoted, my friend....now move on.

I think if Wilder can make some small adjustments from the first fight he should win by KO. I’ve rewatched the first fight 3 times in the last week.

If you watch the end of round 8 going into round 9 you can see wilder is finding some more success with his right hand. He’s starting to aim it into the space where Furys head is moving to. He hits him with a solid right hand at the end of 8 and knocks him down in round 9.

Problem is that when he got Fury hurt he was already fatiguing and followed it up with terribly wild telegraphed punches which gasses him even more.

If he has learnt from the last fight and is able to see how he was able to be more successful with punches I think he’ll get the win
