Hamed's career has actually become underrated since Barrera. He beat a lot of very good champions, his problem was that during his era the competition went from good champions to the next level which was Barrera, Marquez, Morales...ATG featherweights.
There really wasnt anything in between, maybe Tapia and McKinney, who I think Hamed would have probably beat in wars, in fact he probably would have been top of the pile of a lot of featherweight era's, like a lot of athletic phenoms money and his ego got the best of him.
