Hearn is obsessed with fighters from other promotions....he is the king of clout chasing. He doesn’t make any meaningful fights for dazn that don’t include golden boy, top rank, or PBC fighters so he clout chases when he isn’t getting any attention. Fury has also recently said he might fight until 40.

So i don’t take anything seriously. Probably my favourite current fighter but he talks nonsense half the time. He’s always been the same.

He’s a cunning guy too, very smart about boxing. He may be saying it to make Wilder think Fury is already thinking about retirement and not fully focused.

You just never know with Fury.

Fury said weeks ago he wasn't sparring to the head because he doesn't want the cut opening up.

I think that's smart of Fury to go that route. As bad as that cut was you can't risk reopening it. Especially fighting a guy with power who already said publicly he's going to try to open that cut again.
