Theres no reason to 'marinate' garcia v davis.

These two are at the stage where they need to be proving themselves right now, starting with fighting each other.

What is it with this forum, its as if the assumption with these sort of fighters is that they are proven quality until they are beaten, rather then they are unproven until they beat someone quality.

Noone even knows if they are actually that great and already people are trying to manufacture some lopez/gamboa, crawford/spence scenario.

Its a ****ing load of bull****... worst thing is people go along with these fake manufactured rivalries that need to 'build', you do realise the reason fighters do this is so they can get away with fighting crap but it looks like they are 'building towards something', like crawford fighting complete and utter ****e at welterweight but thats fine for all them years cause he was 'building towards spence' oh wait spence drunk drove, crashed his car and ended up in ITU, well what a waste of time that was marinating that.

Ive gone a bit off topic but my point is just ****ing fight when theres a decent fight on the table instead of waiting for the perfect time... people acting like fighters can only ever fight each other once in their career or that theres only going to be one interesting fight they can ever participate in and their whole career has to revolve around 'building up to it'

Think Davis is too soon for Ryan. Linares is at least worn, not a great chin and not as strong a puncher. Linares is a great test with a lot of experience.after that he should look towards Davis and Haney.
