Comments Thread For: Whyte: That Persona Wilder Gives Off - He's Not That Person

Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte is not intimidated by the fearsome punching power of WBC world champion Deontay Wilder. Wilder is going to make a defense of his title on Saturday night, in a rematch with Tyson Fury at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

In what way does Wilder even give off an intimidating persona? His persona is a loud and boisterous goof ball (which I write affectionately and not as a pejorative).

He occasionally goes into the 'I want a body' nonsense, but for the most part he comes off as a decent guy and not an intimidating figure. The thing thats intimidating about him is his punching power.

Wilder has ducked him for 3 years. I'd say he's intimidated.

Wilder's lack of intelligence is quite scary to be honest.

Feels like he's trying to convince himself of all the things he's saying about ppl being scared of Wilder but he ain't.

Feel like there is a solid chance Povetkin beats him & we can be done with all this Whyte bs. Guy shouldn't be as relevant as he is after fooking Del Boy shoulda gotten the nod to him in their first fight. And don't get me wrong Whyte is a solid enough guy. He don't suck, but he's a clear 2nd tier guy who won't be much unlike Andy Ruiz if he ever upsets AJ or Wilder. I see lil chance he could beat Fury. He's probably 30/70 vs AJ or Wilder. I'd figure him to be 10/90 vs Fury.
