You don't understand the rules mate. Fury beat the count, was up and ready to fight. After that it's up to the referee to ensure that he is safe to fight for health reasons. The side to side thing is the recommended approach now. Fury didn't ask for it. Stop being bitter. Wilder would have been allowed the same. Stop making it seem like Fury got lucky Wilder escaped with a Draw. Go watch the result being read out now and Wilder's reaction and relief as a draw is announced is there for all to see.Comment

Fury got the full benefit of the doubt that's not in question.
But Wilder got a favour from the ref and Doctor in the first Ortiz fight when he was given an additional 20 or so seconds after the break to recover from being in serious trouble in the previous round. By the time the 90 seconds or so until the next round started Ortiz had lost all momentum.
In BOTH cases it was within the rules but also in BOTH cases other fighters may not have got the same treatment.Comment
