You mean the tactics vid with Haye and Woodhall? Davison came across very well. The 'nipple' thing was interesting. I'm no expert but I still think Davison has an overly cautious approach, and this is where his inexperience comes into play. If Roach had been allowed to have his way in the first fight, Fury would have been encouraged to push forward and turn up the heat. Instead, we got a tap-dancing display, which led inevitably to Wilder catching Fury. Interestingly, Davison was telling Fury to close the distance when dipping, and not doing this led directly to the knockdown in the 12th, but I think these instructions somehow contradicted Davison's overall approach.. well, something went wrong there at least
Fury has said in a recent interview words to the effect that you're gonna get hit in the ring, it can't be avoided completely, "If you're gonna go swimming, you're gonna get wet" or whatever... An experienced trainer like Roach knows that you MUST take your chances. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if Davison has learnt as much, if not more, from Fury as the other way around.
