Sometimes Larry Merchant is a dumb ass. He argues with real, tested boxers like George Foreman and Roy Jones, Jr. as if he knows more about being in a ring. Still, I feel like I'm watching my old, senile grandfather for kicks. What will he say? Racist slur? Drug reference? A 'back when I was a boy and ****** japanese **********s.' I like that. He's old enough that he can run his mouth, get fired, and still have had a good career. I vote for keeping Merchant around until he dies on air.
