To a few of the biggest nuttiest Canelo fans like Young Business and Mc Donald Canelo is Mr Perfect Man. To them he is like a god and saying he did anything wrong or was less than perfect is an unforgivable sin.

I'm going to defend Canelo here because Callum Smith, BJS and Charlo are nowhere near his level. Assuming the fights will take place in the US, Smith and Saunders are basically unknowns here. Charlo doesn't have a big name either. It's just a cash grab.

They should be thankful with whatever offer was given. I'm assuming it was probably around $7-8M. Which is very fair, cause they're not making that kind of money.

The situation is completely different than it was with Golovkin because Golovkin was based out of the US and was overwhelmingly more popular than all 3 of them combined. The PPV numbers suggest as much ,since both fights did over 1M buys.

I think it was a rehydration clause sandwiched between the gloves and the ring size. Also why 2 old champs like jacobs and kovalev with a couple of loses with KO'S included get to make 12M. And an undefeated young champ gets 6m?

What Canelo fangirls dont realize is that those other guys dont need Canelo to keep doing what they're doing.

If Smith and BJS unify then guess what? Theyll be worth way more than what they're being offered now and guess what? They're still gonna get paid and Canelo isnt.

When Canelo doesn't fight he makes nothing.

Look at Derevychanko. He knew that if he brought Canelo to a purse bid he would get way more than he 5.5 million. He knew if he was competitive against GGG and pulled off the win he would be worth more too!

That smart business on everyone but Canelo. Canelo doesn't care. Dude wants to be done at 35 and has missed his fighting weekends 3 time in the last 2 years.
