Preparing for Ryan and Gamboa are 2 different animals. Ryan fits the PBC FMW Model of absorbing a Mexican audience. They did it with Spence/Garcia and will do it with Chicken Cruz/Somebody? Ryan got fast hands but is straight up and down and stiff as a board. At this point Tank handles him like the Pedroza fight. It's all talk away, so Instagram Thot and Cabbage Patch Twitter Fingers can go back to their normal routines.

It always surprises me how easily boxing fans are taken by obvious clout chasing before fights or because a promoter is unable to make meaningful fights for their clients. I see it more often with dazn based fighters of golden boy and eapecially Matchroom and almost if not truly exclusively PBC fighters are the targets. Even with both the clout chasing blowhard and the PBC fighter have fights set up or in the works.
I think dazn is just struggling and the promoters are under pressure....

DAZN has to be struggling to have made youtube fighters main and co-main events. It's insulting to the sport and athletes but from a marketing standpoint it makes sense. It just should have its own platform or not be placed on a professional boxing card.

I think Ryan will fight Linares next. If this fight happens, it won't be until December! It's always the same. Talk about fighting someone good later, but fight a BS fighter now!
