Bhop even when he lost he was fighting guys in their primes or close to it.Fought RJJ in 93' Floyd never fought anyone close to that level of elite in their prime.Beat a prime Trinidad , KOed a prime ODLH, at age 40 lost a SD to Taylor IMHO won the first fight , moved up and beat Tarver , beat a prime Winky, lost a SD to a prime Calzaghe , beat a prime Pavlik , draw then beat Pascal at age 46 !!!.Was fighting Dawson,Cloud, Kovalev at an advanced age and was not dominated.

Floyd. This isnt even really an argument tbh. Floyd's resume is leagues better than B Hop's

Jones, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Wright, Calzaghe were not prime. This is what you get with casuals.

this is about overall body of work and oppoents, of course roy is the greatest fighter either had fought but neither time was he in his absolute prime.

they have no idea that the time matters, not just the names

Wright was at 170 a catchweight, fight shouldve been at middleweight for Hopkins title at 160 earlier

DLH was in his 6th division and Tito in his 3rd

calzaghe was closer to 40 than 30.

Floyd has the better opponents by far when its all put in the proper context

In terms of pure ability I think Floyd faced better fighters but in terms of challenging matchups it’s definitely B-Hop. Good question. I can’t really give a definitive answer.

Mayweather in fewer fights fought more champions and hall of famers in their prime and best divisions

Hopkins fought a prime Roy Jones and Trinidad. Not comparable.

Another one. Roy jones was pre prime and and i don't know how you can possibly say Trinidad was in his prime at 160. Ridiculous.
