Why? Spence easily won the fight in a shutout and Mikey landed no significant punches at all.

Let�s not be naive. Even gorilla glue applied to a broken piece of porcelain glass has no guarantee to be as strong as when it was first created. Circumstance is everything.

Mikey Garcia has had 2 years of transitioning to Welterweight and his power punches look stronger than ever. Though I will honestly say that Mikey was always draining at 135 as of late. He�s been way past that physique for a long time.

He looked like a dwarf in there against Spence but at this point its to me at least still unclear how hurt he actually was from his accident.

We won't know if he's pretty much finished at an elite level until we see him perform again.

Mikey Garcia knows that he has to get closer in range to land his right hand to the face. Again, Mikey is stronger now. If Spence truly wrecked his jaw as reported... again, porcelain.
Mikey is a sharpshooter. He will make the adjustments this time being stronger. Brook’s skull easily fractured again when he fought Spence, returning from GGG. The bone is brittle from previous trauma. Granted power punches are risky in such cases.

That got me thinking, I fully expect them to put Spence in against a soft touch.

Now since he's considered a top tier welter it wont be too soft but would that be the time to make a small stakes bet on a heavy underdog?

If he was thay badly hurt even a lighter hitting C class welter could ko him.

Why not Spence vs Thurman now. Yeah Spence is coming off an injury but thurman is semi retired. Or early next year after Spence has a tune up get back fight. Mikey is irrelevant until he dies bear Vargas and even that is no great feat. Wasn't Vargas last seen drawing with dullorme or some ****? He's not done anything to merit the winner getting a Spence fight
