Comments Thread For: Fury: Wilder's A One-Trick Pony; Has Big Right Hand & That's It

Now that he has spent 12 rounds in the ring against Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury feels even more confident entering their rematch than he did before their first fight. Fury demeaned Wilder as "one-dimensional" and "a one-trick pony" during a conference call Thursday to promote their heavyweight championship rematch February 22 in Las Vegas. According to the gigantic Englishman, he doesn't need to concern himself with much more than Wilder's dangerous right hand when they square off again at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

          Wilder wouldn`t be even a fringe contender in 60-is, 70-is, 80-is.

Wilder looked terrible in his last fight against grampa Ortiz, didn't land a thing for 7 rounds until Ortiz stood still and gave him a chance to land the right.
The only chance Wilder has is a hail Mary punch that floors Fury for the count.

Wilder may lack the grace and finesse but his speed and timing with the right hand make all the difference in the world. He also carries his power well in the later rounds. Is he the perfect fighter? Not by a long shot but he get's the job done!

Tyson, If the 'Bronze-Bomber' is a One-Trick Pony then that must make you a Jackass. I rather watch those spectacular KO's than all the many tricks you pull out of your clown crate.
