Comments Thread For: Feigenbutz Imports $200 Case Of Water "Because We Don't Trust Anyone Here"

NASHVILLE-Vincent Feigenbutz and his team had already checked out of the hotel to which they were booked by the time a special package arrived for the visiting super middleweight contender. Eventually making its way to the 24-year old from Karlsruhe, Germany was a case of oxygenated bottled water valued at roughly $200. It is all that Feigenbutz will drink heading into his mandatory challenge of unbeaten super middleweight titlist Caleb Plant (19-0, 11KOs), which takes place this Saturday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Which is exactly why he might feel the need to tamper with Feigenbutz’ water. Think about it.

      Edit***
Read my own post and realized it sounded like I believed the Germans su****ions were justified. I don’t believe they are.

I didn’t even know “oxygenated water” was a thing. Sounds like nonsense but if you believe then maybe you get that imaginary benefit advantage.

Manufacturers are hyping the supposed benefits of drinking oxygenated water, but does the hype live up to the facts? We think not.

I work out every day without fail and recently got back into my power lifting after a couple of years off. I drink only 9.5+ alkaline water and hydrogen water for the benefits of both. Both reduce the lactic acid I used to feel, my heart rate is lower while doing hard cardio (by 10-20 BPM), and my blood pressure is lower from it. I’m middle age....for a young thundercat I can understand why he would want high octane water. Unless you’re drinking spring water every day which is pH neutral and or eating plenty of high alkaline foods your pH level is probably more acidic than it should be and when acidosis sets in that’s when you get cancer and other inflammation based diseases

Yeah, placebo effect. I think Feigenbutz is going to need more than $200 oxygenated water to beat Plant. It's not like Feigenbutz is some kind of world beater. Why would someone from Plant's team or anyone else risk some sort of contamination or foul play? Figbutz can punch but he hasn't proven that against someone with Plant's boxing ability.
Most of Figbuts fights were in Germany which is notorious for corrupt judges and tampering. You only need to look back to the Fury Klitschko fight where Klitschko's gloves were initially wrapped without anyone from Fury's team watching and somebody had put extra soft padding under the ring canvas to minimize Fury's movement.
