Thurman once said that he weighed as much as 182 lbs during his 2 year lay off. He said that he gained back those 35 lbs after his comeback fight with Lopez and lost it all before the Pacquiao fight.
It'll definitely be more than a year between the Pacquiao fight and his next fight. He says he'll work on his weight management so he can come back in late 2020. But he was non-committal about returning in 2020. Which means he may sit out the entire 2020 like he sat out the entire 2018.
Maybe he should return at 154 to fight Kell Brook and sees how that goes before returning to 147.
