De La Hoya is implying they offered Smith about $5 million.

Again, Derev chose GGG to make less PAY. Why not risk it with Canelo? The answer was because it was Haymon... Derev would’ve taken the Canelo fight.

So what was Smith's highest payday and what was Oscar's mysterious offer? I'll bet it was nowhere near 3 or 4 times Smith's best payday. Why is it 3 OR 4 times as much. they are not the same offer at all. An offer of 4 million is a hell of a lot better than 3 million. Oscar lying his ass off again and you buying it.

If the offer represents 3 times Smith’s usual payday and he doesn’t take it then I don’t want to hear anything from him.
