    Tonights Fight On Espn........

I just went to see a kid I used to train yesterday of all days at a facility here where he has been locked up for 2 years. Meanwhile lightweight contender Anthony Peterson fights tonight on TV and is doing big things..... funny when u think about life and the choices you make as u grow because 8 years ago when they were both 13 my kid beat Anthony in a GREAT fight to win the PAL Nationals at Disneyworld. Now look where they sit. Life is funny like that sometimes.

Anthony Peterson is a very good prospect. He looked very impressive, and has shown vast growth as a boxer/puncher in recent fights. I like the way his people have been moving him, keeping him on television and getting him some great matchmaking to show off his skills. He is ready for a step up to fringe contenders in his next fight, and should be ready to challenge for a lightweight title in the next year or so.

Anthony Peterson was very sharp in this fight. He definitely has a future ahead of him.

I know what your saying. Not boxing related but.. My cousin Jose was very good at basketball, always stood out during games and scored all the points, star of his high school team. He ended up getting shot 3 times then instead of learning from it went after the kids and now he is in jail for 5 years well only one year left now. But one moment you can be on the verge of something great, but it only takes one ****** decision that only takes a second to make to *** up your life.

Also had two kids i grew up with get in a fight, one stabbed and killed the other. One dead, one in jail, case is still going but he will probably be away for a while. They were good friends!! So ******, i bet you hes in his cell wonderin why the *** he did that and regretting it. Just another case how it only takes one ****** decision to ruin a whole lifetime.

thompson picks his spots very well. He throws some wide shots, so he misses big a lot. If he faces a great counter-puncher, i think he'll get slaughtered. Just a thought i got
