Just going off memory, I believe I seen fighters in the corner with non clear bottles so many times that I find it hard to believe there's an actual rule against it. It may be one of those technicalities where "technically" it's wrong but ppl do it so often nobody really tries to nitpick it.

Like lane violations in basketball for example if any of you are familiar.

I've seen clear bottles with tape for grip, but it's been at least a decade since I've seen a 100% opaque bottle. I believe that's been illegal since the Panama Lewis ordeal.

But yeah, you're allowed tape wrapped bottles.

I've been saying for the longest amount of time that both Charlos are as suspect as can be. WMJ was banned vs Mall Charlo for a elevated testosterone test that he did take while Both Charlos were retroactively let off for blatantly violating vada rules

(aka cheating aka commiting offenses punishable by being suspended from VADA as per their official rules) despite both Charlos already having been required to taka a vada class on the requirements & automatic fails of VADA.

But despite all these things they were allowed to vanish off the face of the earth an entire week without anyone being able to get a hold of them at eithers houses/gyms/cellphones etc,aka they blatantly cheated & hid out for a week til it cleared their systems.

They then claimed that they are the only grown men on earth who leave cellphones behind when traveling & used the lamest bs story imaginable as an excuse claiming they went to the grand canyon or some such bs & then posted an undated photo as supposed proof instead of hotel records etc. I suspected they were both cycling roids which is why Jermell has newfound power all of a sudden & both of them barely have ever been tested(that was among 1st times both did vada & they conveniently had to cheat)

And the same WBC/VADA that contradicted prior precedents/cases as well as wada rules when automatically failing Canelo out of vada for 1 steak amount levels of a rampant food product with no ped benefit whatsoever,these same clowns allowed WMJ be banned for elevated testosterone yet despite the Charlos offenses being considered an automatic fail & a 2 yr automatically bannable offense per vada rules they were thoroughly informed of prior,& despite countless athletes getting between 2-4 yr bans for missed/fail tests(even for rec drugs they ducked vada over)the Charlos were given a warning instead.

They also both behave the way someone does when cycling roids like ***** Shyte does entirely full of roidrage

I just don’t understand how inspectors and California commissioners could drop the ball like this in a world championship fight. The rule is in between rounds you can only drink water in clear sealed bottles seeming that tgb provided the water what was being drank in the Gatorade bottle!!!!!! Inspectors and commissions one job is to protect the safety of fighters seeming that all the deaths in sport of boxing had occurred but now we have people like this that want the edge no matter who’s on the other end. I’m disgusted with the sport I love not so much with him cause his job is to try to get over but I caught it. He didn start off drinking what ever was in the bottle until about round 4 until it ended. Head trainer Dereck James never co-signed what was going on never touched that bottle that was getting passed on the sides. They crowded him it was really hard to see til I watched the fight time and time again. He can say he was drinking anything but fact is it def wasn’t water!!!! Do I want the fight over turned not at all I feel I should of beat him regardless but I’m def calling a spade a spade and the playing field just wasn’t even in a world championship fight!! What ever comes from this for me it is what it is but I’m def going to bring awareness to the world and who ever he fights next to be aware like the sport says protect YOSELF at all times they mean that literally!!Calling all fighters and trainers Let’s talk boxing tell me what you think!!"

As far as I know different commissions have different rules. Nevertheless if a classic opaque Gatorade bottle is seen, what limited liquids do you assume are in it, and why are there rules in general?

You have to apply to use electrolytes. It’s on the WBC form prior to the fight and both sides would be aware of it. Form is right on the WBC site (I’m on my phone or else I’d post it) both camps need to sign off on it.
