I wonder about Yarde and his performance against Kov probably says more about how far Kovalev fell than how good Yarde is.

Of course it does. Honestly, Yarde's performance wasn't that great, apart from the round where he was ******ly told to 'empty the tank'. Even then, Kovalev actually recovered by the end of the round and actually landed the last power shot before the bell.
Yarde was gassed before the end of the round.
He was also being hit consistently throughout the fight, particularly by Kovalev's jab.
Tunde Ajayi thinks he teaches the Mayweather defence, but using the shoulder roll badly isn't the same thing.

Yarde needs to get in the ring with another British LHW. He could become a big name in the UK if he is involved in a big British fight, then he can go for world honours.
