He's mysterious and hides cause his sexual exploits are down right disgusting. He's mysterious and hides cause he's more than likely violating the Ali act. He's mysterious and hides cause his stable of fighters arent making the biggest fights possible. He's mysterious and hides cause he'll more than likely get called out by people for NOT making the biggest fights possible with other promoters...
the list goes onComment

Haymon is like a ****** rat who has to hide from public and media. Obviously he has a lot to hide and is not proud of his dirty dealings. He does not even show up to watch his own live events - because he knows the outcomes before it happens and it's not worth his time to watched fake fixed fraud fights.
Maybe the best way to judge Haymon's influence on boxing is to take a look at the character of the jerks he made prominent - Floyd, Broner, Davis, Stevenson, Wilder. All no class jackasses, all shames to professional sports in how they carry themselves and role model for youth.Comment

Al gets a lot of criticism but one thing nobody can dispute is that: He generally acts within the best interests of his fighters.Comment

That's what a dummy thinks. He acts in the best interests of HIMSELF. That's why he rejected $120m to Wilder to fight Joshua, why he turned down a career high offer from Hearn/Whyte for Wilder. Don't forget Broner and Jayz. We could go on and on.Comment

Haymon isn't mysterious. He is like many owners and CEO's, he keeps a low profile and handles his business. Haymon makes some non black posters nervous because he is smarter, more economically successful and more accomplished then they or the people in boxing they most closely associate with.
He came from Harvard and then the music industry. He made his money in a number of business ventures.
He stays out of the public eye because the best bosses empower their staff to make decisions and do their jobs.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 02-12-2020, 02:23 PM.Comment
