Every fighter with this Fan-cries “protection” belt might as well admit they just bought an exemption from the ranking system that gave them the very opportunity to be a champion every fighter deserves. Don’t tell me later it’s about unifying and your claim to the throne has been relinquished silently.

How pathetic is this? If you as a fan are going to support a fighter fighting “ almost certain wins,” then they should just realize it’s because they don’t have the heart to stand by their guy should he have a 50/50 chance to take a loss.

I don't know if the fighters are embarrassed to hold the Franchise Championship, but the WBC should be embarrassed for creating it and the promoters who have requested it should be embarrassed as well.
