It would have been a lucrative fight in the UK now I don’t know.
    There were plenty of reasons.

When both men were in their primes and the fight was first touted, Khan was a genuine internationally boxing star and could command big money, whereas Brook was a solid name but nothing more.

By the time Khan's schedule and career started to wind down he was looking for THAT big fight, and although May/Pac never happened for him, he still managed to make lots more millions against Canelo, rather than fight for less money in probably a less risky fight against Brook.

Now the fight, imo, is truly dead. Khan is not dedicate enough for boxing anymore and Brook is almost shot and will get KOd by the time he faces anyone of note at 154....a division Khan is unlikely to fight in.

It is sad because if Brook had had more top quality opponents, and the fight would have made financial sense for Khan.

Khan gets flattened and he knows it that’s why the fight will never happen lol

Because losing to your domestic rival whom you been trash talking for years to be an easy fight and not on your level is different. Khan is bigger than brook in his country by a mile.. so when you loses to the guy you said to be extremely low then you put yourself even lower.
Most of his countrymen already bought it that he can beat brook and they’re not on the same levels...
While the world knew khan is going to lose to canelo and crawford and has everything to gain if he wins. That’s why a few good rounds against them khan was given full credit for lol

Against brook, he doesn’t have a world to win... but a whole lot more to lose when he loses.
I don’t think his delusional ass can handle it.

Against canelo, nah.. he’s bigger than me two divisions up.
Against crawford, nah.. he’s pound for pound number 1.

Against Brook? What will he say? I lost to a guy of extremely low level and swore to beat for like 10 yrs straight.

brooks running after khan was so embarassing , khan used it to get 10 mil v canelo, the brook fight offer bumped his payday

Nah, my brother. I have to disagree. I think what's really embarrassing is Khan making up excuse after excuse not to fight. Everyone and anyone with a little common sense knows that Khan was not going to fight him. The embarrassment here is and was always Khan. Let's be honest here...it would take only one solid shot from Brook to his fragile chin and the fight is over. Khan knows the deal so he stayed in his lane. If fans really believed that Khan would beat Brook then they are not very bright. Khan would have be to be extremely lucky to win that fight.
And last but not least-do you really believe that if Khan believed or knew that Brook was an easy fight that he would of not taken it by now? With the ego that he has? Come on now...

Lol.. Come on.. U know as well as I.. Grudge matches are usually on another level.. I honestly think the fight would bring out the best in both fighters..

I wanted this fight so bad.

I still pick Brook. Khan doesn't want it and now both got their ass beat badly it's kind of irrelevant.

                      I'll still watch though
