Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux's Underappreciated Quest Continues At Bantamweight

Would he choose to fight forehead to forehead with Liborio Solis, inviting the heavy-handed brawler to wail him to the body and shake him with uppercuts to the delight of the crowd but at the risk of losing the fight, or would he outbox...

But I don't think that he should stay at 118. His punch resistance seemed different.

Not sure how easily Rigo makes 118 but dropping weight, even 4lbs, is not usually a good move as fighters age.

I'm happy to see Rigo back to his beautiful style of boxing (F the haters). The Ceja fight had me uncomfortable to see the Master taking that much punishment to please the fans (who still weren't pleased). Really looking forward to the Inouye fight, that will be amazing!

                    Agree 100%

Can't be expressed better than this article. I was very unconfortable seeing Rigo's exchange in the previous fight. Was unnecesary and fooliss. MEayweather never accepted this exchange and that's why he was able to fight until now. Rigo's defense is supreme and one of his best tools beside he can hit harder than anyone.
Thanks to Roney Shields who is a sensible man and mature trainner. Thanks for the good advise he gave him. Rigo needs money, but I'll be very sad if he gets hurd just to please the foolish who wants him to fight like mexicans does.
                    Excellent arcticle. I love it
