Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn: Kell Brook Has Another World Title Win in Him

Kell Brook will be confident that he has enough left in the tank to win another world title. The former IBF welterweight king stepped up in weight after a 14-month hiatus to get the better of Mark DeLuca. Brook, who said recently that it would take seven figures for him to get into the ring with former WBO champion Liam Smith in an all-British showdown, dropped his man in the third at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield as he showed flashes of what we know he once had.

A title shot I can believe. A title win im not so sure. I can imagine Hearn can work Brook an opportunity but if its against one of the current champs i just cant see Brook beating them. Although what Rexy says, get it in a vacant against somebody who really shouldnt be fighting for it either.

I like what I saw in Brook. He’s still solid and has power. He just has to stay active.

Castano will beat Texeira, PBC will have all the belts. Brooke will have to go to PBC and fight one of the champs. Or he can be a domestic fighter and just fight Liam Liam

That's how it is these days. Nobody fights champs lol. I read somewhere that it's something ****** like 68% of the active champs either won their titles vacant, or they were upgraded from interim. It's awful

As with Whyte - Eddie will bribe one of the crooked alphabets to get brook an interim belt shot vs some ranked cadaver

Just needs to stay active and his fluidity and timing should come back. It definitely improved as the fight went on. The shot that finished it wasn't a left hook at all, just a perfectly timed stiff jab.

Still got hit far more than I'm used to seeing but what he's just had the longest lay off in his career and was always in control. Didn't seem overly concerned with what was coming back at him which would obviously change as he steps it up. All in all I suppose it served its purpose.
