He also could've been in line to unify with the winner of Campbell/Fortuna vs Haney. Instead, he dropped his title at 135 and skipped 140, despite having won a world title there, to get whitewashed by Spence at 147. He's now stuck in a division he doesn't have the attributes to conquer.

I don’t think Rigo gets sympathy, he got slated for quitting at the time.

I don’t think anyone has much opinion on Rigo or Garcia in terms of the losses. The talk is more of the winners and the lack of achievement it was.

Loma doesn’t get much credit for beating a much smaller man. Just as Spence never got much credit.

Most saw they were mismatches in size, so there’s not much to be said.
