umm He did that... You must have missed the memo. Back when you were strung out on meth and selling your ass on the street corner...Manny already beat JMM. 41 rounds actually.

Oh look. another moron lol. Manny NEVER looks for a KO. If it comes it comes. JMM wanted a KO because its the only way he can win. He just couldn't out box Manny. Close but not enough.

Manny wasn't trying to KO...you so duhhhh ******. lol

Boy you got an excuse for everything, Ive never heard so many obscure reasons for Mannys flaws no matter how slight they are, you are in a weird place kid, too much wasted time on your hands.

Anyway to the topic I think it doesnt matter who you are if you beat somebody everything they do after wards reflects a little shine on you, it applies to everyone.

And it works the other way too, if say elite fighter A just got passed a guy and then the next fight that guy is blown away by a B grader, bet your life people will bag A for it .

How can that be. People get better and worst. Things change. And 1 win or loss doesn't define a fighter.

Its just the way people reflect , nobody said define but it definitely adds some shine if you beat a guy that does great things after you beat him, people are fickle and will use what was done over there to add or take away from the now.

I can see your point. Its not totally invalid. I understand to A point. But as for this case in the thread topic i dont agree because it was a one shot deal 41 rounds and i cant see how that puts shine on JMM now with Mannys success now!

People in general love one shot deals no doubt JMM fans will use it to say he is better than Manny, I dont think it effects JMM that much because they had 4 fights with intense rivalry making close fights, that KO will go down in history and always be a feather in his cap, I think Manny is the better fighter but not by much.

They are as about equally matched as ive seen in two fighters ever.
