Not overrated at all. Legitimate ATG amateur. A tough fight for anyone in the lower divisions. Jumped classes to fight Loma.. although he was embarrassed technically, not due to weight disparity.

Having said that, he wasted a ton of his own career. Most of the haters love to blame Bob for it, but that's far from the truth. There was an article ~2-3 years ago where Rigo took responsibility for his own career and said he was surrounded by snakes for wayy too long.

Were Chicken Cruz, Quigg, Frampton and Mares overrated? That's the real question.
Chick Cruz - It's a boring fight you don't want to see it after Haymon saved him from DeLaHoya
Frampton - I have my health and family to worry about it.
Quigg and Mares - These 2 just kept the trap close and let things blow over.

Saying Rigo over-rated is like saying Crawford is over-rated at 147.

Only in this generation of boxing do you become overrated when the h@es in the division duck you or literally leave the division. It must be this social media generation.

Crawford is actually worst b/c the 154s run about 6'0 and most of the 147s are 5'7 or less and can't even stop guys coming up from 140, so they just stay at 147 and hold the division up since 2015. it's been 5 years we have had to listen to the nonsense since fmw tried to make thurman vs spence.
