Thats the best response you can do? Yall boys name all these slick fighters and just casually act like Floyd is just another one of them. What, Pernell, Pep, Benitez, all the same as Floyd right?

Again, this dude dominated and embarrassed 90% of the people he faced, for 20yrs and 50 straight fights. Literally laughing in the face of everyone, like it was easy.

But he's just "another great fighter" Yall kill me with this nonsense.

You’re clearly one of these sensitive “TBE” fanboys who gets emotional over Floyd, which explains why you tried to deludedly suggest “Sweet Pea got hit a lot”.😂

He’s a top 10 ATG but compare him to SRL for instance:

      Wins over:
      PRIME Benitez 38-0

PRIME Duran undefeated for 8 years

      PRIME Hearns 32-0

      Hagler undefeated in 11 years.

Floyd’s resume as impressive as it is simply doesn’t stack up.

You Floyd maniacs are dedicated to defending your idol though.
      HARD WORK!! DEDICATION!!!

Is this some type of joke.

Floyd is the far superior defensive fighter.

IDGAF about the names on SRL resume, because it takes more than that to even come close to Floyd. I specifically mentioned DOMINANCE, CONSISTENCY, LONGEVITY, and SKILLS.

You compare SRL to Floyd likes its apples to apples. Do you know how big SRL is? Imagine Floyd being a natural ww, with the hieght and reach SRL had. He would literally walk down and embarrass every single opponent SRL barely beat Lol

Imagine SRL being a lightweight. He would be going to hell and back with guys Floyd embarrassed. Their is literally no fighter in history as dominant and perfect as Floyd. In fact, SRL is the weakest of all the goats. SRR, Ali, Joe Louis, all better than SRL. Floyd just happens to be better than all of them combined. And Im far from a "fanboy" I just never seen a fighter so perfect and dominant like Floyd before.

You cant just name random legends and try to sit them next to Floyd like its going to go unnoticed.

And try to say Duran was in his prime. He was a past prime blown up fighter and whipped SRL's behind. Its hard to be consistent like Floyd, and ALWAYS get the job done. But SRL aint the fighter that needs to be compared to Floyd.

Mayweather isnt a defensive wizard imo. He's a "pureboxer". He is going to outbox you, and avoid the punch at the last second. Similar to SRL, SRR, and Ali.

Except his defense is so sharp, that he has a variety of ways of avoiding those punches.

If we strictly talking about avoiding shots, he is the best of all time but it goes beyond that. Just embarrassing about 80% of his resume, is unheard of.

For me, he is the GOAT. We wont see a fighter more dominant than him ever!
Agree with everything you said except for the last part.
Floyd doesn’t play games in the ring, he doesn’t showboat when he’s dominating his opponent.

I disagree that he’s the goat —though he has a case. Had he fought prime pac, prime cotto at a time it mattered most then yes.
His best win against an absolute prime fighter is Corrales. And that pales against Leonard with Prime Benitez, Hagler, Hearns and Duran.

That is the only weakness I can find in Floyd’s resume.
He didn’t fight his best challengers at a time they mattered most or at their very best. Granted he was also not at his best, but time benefits his conservative style.

It goes beyond facing this guy or that guy in their prime. Floyd's overall CAREER is unlike anything we have ever seen. He is just too dominant and perfect, and consistent to be compared to anyone else.

For me, because Pac and Cotto being past their prime, I dont even think much of those victories tbh. If we speaking resume only, he has a great overall resume, but when he got old, the opponents got bigger and younger, and Floyd was masterful. Guy was 37yrs old and 150lbs, his opponents were 23, 25, etc, and 165lbs. He should've been KO'd inside of 5 rounds, yet he embarrassed them!

SRL could've faced Tyson, and that wouldnt do anything for him to be anywhere near Floyd!

SRL going life and death with Castillo, Sosa and Ndou😂😂 GTFOH...

Floyd would get KTFO by a prime Hearns, he ain’t getting past that jab.

Good post man, that’s the way I see it. Talent wise Floyd is right up there but the resume just isn’t on the level of a guy like SRL, Armstrong or Robinson.
