Not sure why this fight is happening for June, Joshua needs to be more active. He should have fought early April, if he wins then summer for the Usyk fight, then end of the year fight. Keep active until 2021, maybe one of the HW outside of Fury or Wilder would have made their name bigger by the time the mandatories are over.

The answer lies in the logistics of acommodating the size of crowd that Joshua draws combined with the British weather.

Joshua fills stadia. Football stadia are generally open to the elements. Hence, the summer months give you the best shot of not having a very unhappy crowd in the rain.
