Which one is better to fight against as an amateur

The one who is a Mayweather/Broner defensive tactician type of boxer
    or
The one who is Pacquiao/tenacious purely offensive type of fighter?

Definitely defensive, less chance of getting obliterated physically you'll just get frustrated a bit mentally trying to land punches instead of taking loads and getting knocked out.

Amateurs fight 3 rounds only, thus, they are much more energetic in the ring. Defensive strategy can rarely bring success in amateur fights.

Pacquiao style. He's going to give you much more opportunities to land. Mayweather would just pick you apart. That's why technical fighters/movers usually do better than gung ho fighters in the ams.
